Asia has made the headlines for major business deals, for its demographics and with its response to the pandemic – This has not gone unnoticed by the world.

According to Global Finance Magazine, ‘the region’s growing wealth, farsighted decision-making, increasing commercial creativity and cultural visibility underpin its inevitable ascendency.’

Citing statistics from the World Bank, the magazine notes that East Asia and Pacific economy will continue to outperform in the near term with growth accelerating to 7.4% in 2021. Comparatively, those numbers are expected to be 3.6% and 3.5% for Eurozone and the US respectively.

Granted, Asia will have its challenges ahead to lead the century, however the region has come to understand that Asia stands stronger together – ‘Achieving a shared interest in stability looks set to be the making of the Asian Century’.
