Would you (seriously) consider joining a start-up?

You are a manager in a well-established company.
Would you (seriously) consider joining a start-up?

Many would say this is tempting but not everyone would really jump in.

I met with a friend yesterday who was a senior VP in an MNC.

A year ago, he joined a fast growing start-up headquartered in Europe. He is their first representative in Asia.

A real career change. No team, no more support functions… He has to build the business in the region from scratch.
Big risks, but he has “full ownership” as he mentioned.

This is a typical assignment for NAOS International, hiring experienced managers to join growing start-ups.

But changing from large well-established organizations to a start-up is not for everyone.
